It was a good thing Oliver was in shock from being sucked through time or space, because he didn't really have time to decide how he wanted to approach any of these new interactions, and thus hadn't started blindly hitting on her like an idiot. It never really worked, as Oliver tended to come on way too strong and to choose women far out of his league, but since he didn't see this as anything other than meeting for drinks he was perfectly at ease. "I'm certainly sorry I don't," he said honestly, and he laughed at her assessment about the kind of time he had. "I never have anything less than a fun time. It's in my nature." He let her take his arm and happily felt himself steered towards the bar.
The other good thing was that bars were Oliver's kind of place. No matter where in the universe you were, bars tended to be the same and he was always comfortable in them. He made a mad dash to the bar and plopped down on a stool. "I'm new!" he announced to the bartender. "I'm here for my free one and make it strong!" He turned towards Roxanne and grinned. "And on me, get this pretty lady whatever she desires."
