Um, the house of life had a kill on sight order for anyone using the path of the gods. So it was either start up a school or fight Apophis on our own. And I mean I'm awesome and Carter's pretty good too, but there's no way that we could have done it alone.

Plus we were the first ones to do it since like the fall of Egypt or something.
