Harlow was feeling restless. While she had no problem pointing out issues in other people, in her own well-meaning and supportive way, she had some serious denial going on about her own emotions. She figured she'd just had too much coffee and that was why she was so distracted and jittery lately. Deciding to try to work it out, she'd gone for a run, and swam a few laps in the pool. Still keyed up, she skipped dinner to head to the training facility and sharpen up some of her skills. Standing at one end of the room, she'd laid out a line of very sharp knives on the floor beside her. Picking one up, she looked across the room at the target she'd pinned up against the padded wall. It had been too long since she'd thrown at just a paper target, and maybe it was time for some practice. Lifting one knife by the handle, she took a solid stance. With a slow breath to steady herself, she pulled her arm back and released the knife into the air toward target with surprising force for someone so petite. It hit solidly and stuck into the wall blade first, just southeast of the center of the bulls eye. Frowning, she shook her head and reached for another knife to try again.
