Hey. How are you for serious talks right now?

I can handle serious talk.

Is something wrong?

Why does it have to be something wrong?

Don't worry, I'm not in jail or injured or drunk with some badly thought out tattoo.

Did you see the big thing about how people could possibly go home if they wanted?

It doesn't have to be, I just wanted to know right away if it was. I'm glad it's not.

I did. It didn't sound like it was a sure thing yet, though.

Yeah, it didn't sound like an immediate now thing, but it's enough of a thing that people are wondering the whole 'will I stay or will I go now' answers.

If it's a sure thing, would you want to go back?

[...] Maybe.

I like this place, and I don't miss all the drama at home. But I miss Max.

It's nice, right? To just get to be however we want without all the secrets and looking over our shoulders. And without that drama.

More of our people might still come through. But yeah, there's people I miss. And I guess Max.

It's definitely nice to have a much wider community that doesn't care about us being aliens. And we're not the only ones who aren't human.

I still reach for Max in my head multiple times a day, and he's just not there. I can't stop myself.

We got to actually go into space. And that cruise did give that IOU. Who knows when they'll pick us back up for the rest.

I know I won't ever get that. That kind of absence. And I know it isn't the same, but if you got to reach out and connect to someone, I'm here. As long as you stay here, I won't be going anywhere.

If they're not going to give us the space experience of our people, I'm not sure I really want to go back to space. But it wasn't awful.

Well, I'm not leaving without you.

Even if it was our people, it wouldn't really be it seems. Like we got Star Wars, but not all the Jedi and stuff. But even if it was just a bit...

So, we go together. Whenever the moment feels right.

That's still more information than we have about them now. I agree.

Agreed. And if Max shows up and we want to talk about staying together, I would consider it.

Between the two of us, we might even be able to convince him to sit down to have that be a real discussion and not just a Max decree.

I am tired of those. Though at the moment I also miss them a little.

I'm sure I'd stop missing them not long after he showed up, though.

Maybe a little. A tiny bit. I mean, how do I know what I should be doing when I don't have Max telling me 'that's a bad idea' which obviously means it's the best idea ever.

I don't miss mediating between the two of you, and I'm not going to do it in his absence.

Do you have a bucket list of experiences you want to have before leaving? In addition to going back into space.

But it always seemed like you were having so much fun.

Space is up there. Piloting a ship myself up would definitely be on there. Other than that? I'd have to think it over. Maybe actually getting out to see more of this world.

Oh, it's loads of fun to have that much stress and anxiety.

Well, if you're going to pilot a ship anywhere, it might go better here. There's more knowledge and technology available.

We could also do some more traveling. Where would you want to go?
