	I didn't mean like tricking him into a date, but more like it could be a date if he's cool with it but otherwise it could just be hanging? 	Thanks. It probably just feels bad as most of advice I feel like I can give is 'don't do this stupid thing I did'. If you need an excuse, I can make up reasons to not ask him out. But anyways, ok, so, if you like him and you won't be hurt if he freaks out about it, then I can't talk you out of it. Ask him. Or just... admit you like him more. Just even that can help get things going. Or at least gets you to skip past all the awkward months of inner angst and torment of 'oh I like him but I don't want to ruin our friendship' that ends up in a mess where you realize both of you were thinking that exact same thing instead of talking and getting to dating a whole lot earlier.

	That one particular instance also involved both of us thinking the other had a crush on the same girl and I highly recommend to avoid how that mess got resolved. Even if the resolution was nice. And I'm glad too. About this, whatever comes of it. It's good. And I'll try my best to not loom intimidatingly if anything goes wrong. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
