Processing takes a while, and Ahsoka was thinking (not seriously) about mind tricking the officers into putting her case first. There were lots of comments about how cool her hair was, but didn't she think those tattoos were going to age terribly? Eventually, Anakin was processed, brought out, and handed over to her. She may have given him a little Force nudge to get them out the door quicker.

Once outside, she said, "Alright. What happened?"

Human jawbones can totally take a prosthetic punch, right?... Yeah, Anakin definitely owes that guy some medical bills paid.

He wasn't actually mad at Ahsoka when he snapped, "He got my lightsaber in his chest." He inhaled deeply and tried to let his anger go instead of shoving it down. "... I know they think that. I know I shouldn't have... ... I don't even know his name."

	No, he wasn't angry with her, and Ahsoka could sense that. She quietly asked, "The youngling?" Ahsoka's memories of that time period were a blur. She remembered sensing Anakin, the sucker punch it had been, right before the Clones turned on her. She'd been so worried about him, she hadn't noticed the change. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

"... Yeah." Not that he was the only youngling, but the one who'd said the particular thing that the punchable face at Darth Vaper had quoted.

"He knew who I was, but I don't remember his name." They'd been away at war, after all. Sometimes when they were back on Coruscant, he'd help with lightsaber or flight lessons, but nobody learned and remembered every name. (Well, maybe Yoda.)

	Ahsoka hesitated for a moment. She had spent a lot of time among younglings over the course of the war. Teaching them to let go to get their kyber crystals. Helping them create their lightsabers which would be an extension of themselves. "It was Sors Bandeam." Ahsoka had watched the films after all, and recognized the youngling's face. "Sors Bandeam." So that was his name. Anakin didn't asked how or why Ahsoka knew; between the films and her experiences with the younglings, there were obvious enough ways.

But if Ahsoka had known that boy, well... that must make it worse for her. But he didn't really know the extent of what Ahsoka had learned through her own life before the portal and after.

And he honestly hadn't asked, either, about everything that happened with her at the end of the war. He knew to an extent but It was something he'd avoided.

"Did you... find his name, or... you knew him?"
