Miguel stood at the edge of the space port with his hands on his hips and looked up at the cliffs. He wanted to climb them. This wasn't anything new - he'd wanted to climb them as soon as he'd stepped off the Atomica and seen them. He'd been heading off to meet Ben and all the other spider-people at that point, being shown how to work the technology and finding his way around. He couldn't have stopped all that just so he could indulge in a spot of rock-climbing. Although to be fair, out of all the people on the Atomica, they were probably the most likely to understand that particular urge.
Now, though, he had nowhere to be, nobody to meet, nothing to do but look up at the city above, the lights all starting to turn on as the day began to turn to twilight and then to night. His suit was dark so he'd be hard to see in the dark, and it wasn't like he needed lights to do anything. He could climb those cliffs. They looked easy, with so many hand-holds and ledges and the greenery that was everywhere. He could climb up, dive dow- wait, no, he could climb to the top and jump off and the anti-grav material on his spider-suit would let him glide down. It wasn't exactly what he was used to, weaving through all the skyscrapers of Nueva York and dodging the maglevs and the flyboys, but it was a shock-load better than nothing.
The building to his far left was the palace, perched right on the edge of the cliffs, and no doubt guarded from all different angles. He had no intentions of causing intergalactic incidents, so climbing that section of cliff was a non-starter. Perhaps if he moved further round, away from the palace?
