I feel like I'm in a dangerous game right now, but the boys seem particularly miffed when they can't tell lies or even small fibs. They don't tell them often, but today seemed to be one of those days.

Biscuits. They were trying to say that they were given permission to get them, which involved climbing on the counters.

Were they even trying to be sneaky about it or did they drag a chair across the floor making all kinds of ruckus?
