Yeah, but I saw a couple ships break atmo the other day. One looked like an Imperial TIE fighter but slightly different.

No, but he as a boogeyman of his own by then. He probably scared his subordinates not to tell me. He was always trying to protect me.

At least until he abandoned me, and even then it was to protect me.

Yes, of course you did. Saw didn't see any problem blowing anything Imperial up.

Still trained me to fight. Still used me for his rebellion. Still left me on Tamsye Prime with a blaster and a knife.

He was so paranoid by the end of his life, he'd gotten a hold of one of those mairan. Didn't care who it left a hollow mess of a person.

Your Death Star killed him too. He was tired of running. I think he just wanted to be with Steela by then.

I regret that the Jedi ever got involved with his early group. Perhaps if things hadn't turned for them, he wouldn't have become so extreme and Steela would have lived.

I doubt it. The Empire turned many into things they never thought they'd be.

If you're Vader, and what they say about Vader being the Emperor's right hand, then yes. Your Death Star. You stood by and allowed it to be built. You were complacent. You let it happen.

My father sacrificed himself. He put a trap in your Death Star, and I've heard that it was blown up. So long planet killer.

His right hand insofar as I enforced his will and gave orders that had the weight of the Emperor behind them. I was his weapon; I did not advise him. If I had opposed the Death Star, he would not have listened, but you are correct— I did little to stop it or interfere with it, even though I was well placed to do so.

My daughter received and delivered the plans you transmitted. My son fired the shot that destroyed the Death Star and all aboard it.
