Just a check in on how everyone's doing. Between kidnappings, people decaying, truth spells and transformations this has already been a little more fucked up than a lot of what goes on here and it doesn't help that it's really dragging on for some of us. I obviously can't do my day job like this so I've got a lot of free time if anyone needs to talk, about this or anything else. You can pretend to be a Disney princess or something.

I'm getting tired of turning into a bird every morning. Even Lila doesn't think it's cute anymore.

Definitely getting old, especially with the long days. I need my hands. And time to work out. Thank god for audiobooks though.

Oh man, hands. And teeth. And clothes.

But I could get used to the eyesight.

I get access to the eyesight anyway. I'm just looking forward to actually waking up, in bed, in a normal shape.

You ever get cravings at night for bird food like this?

They have chocolate covered sunflower seeds at Doose's. Just sayin.

You think they have chocolate-covered crickets?

I've got a question. I mean, I guess it can wait till you're no longer a bird.

Well it doesn't have to. Actually I don't know that, but I'm assuming.

So I got new memories, and those new memories really conflict with a lot of things here. Before I cut myself off from daddy's money, I had a therapist and I could tell them everything to get it out. I don't [...] really have anyone like that here. Bucky suggested I talk to you or Professor X, but I mean — Hawkeyes don't really get along with either.

Ain't like you've ever murdered someone in front of me Me and Clint have had a weird history for a long time. I don't see that it needs to spill over though. The important thing is whether you'd be comfortable.

Honestly, I don't know. I don't trust a lot of people. Finding out my dad had something to do with my mom getting murdered might have something to do with that.

Anyway, not the time. So here's the thing. I used to have a lot of money and I could pay for a lot of sessions and stuff. But when I found out bad things with my dad, I cut myself off from all of that and now I'm just a PI who doesn't make a ton of money. What kind of pricing are we looking at?

Yeah, I can see that.

I don't charge for this stuff. There aren't exactly a lot of us with the qualifications and it's not like people can go to anyone outside our group. Everything seems harder when you're in crisis and a lot of people are skeptical of therapy anyway so I figure it's better to make it easy as possible.

Look what all it got Rick Jones into.

So just you know, a hypothetical, if something was warping heroes together, who would you want to be combined with?

I'm still banned from SHIELD for that, I think I got a good enough look.

It kind of says something that I can't tell if this is a hypothetical or a "hypothetical". Or if you mean, like, just our powers, or our personalities, or some nightmare body horror scenario?

People decaying is a lot fucked up. Having an alternative existence is one thing, losing chunks of yourself is another.

The Disney princess mental image is kind of funny, though, sorry.

We have a whole organisation of undead ninjas back home. Don't think they actually decay though, I'm pretty sure they just resurrect them with a bunch of brainwashing.

My philosophy's pretty much that people are gonna make jokes anyway, I might as well get there first.

We might've had undead ninjas in my birth world at some point, I don't know. But I've known vampires and "undead" since then, and none of them decayed. Unless they went in the sun, I guess, but I don't think that counts as decay.

Hey, I'm all for that philosophy. You have to find the humor in this stuff wherever you can.

Pretty much, yeah.

I think my parents experienced a lot of the same stuff that I was able to read about, so maybe "same here", sort of? Most of the ridiculous was kind of before my time.

It's hard to tell where all the timelines match up sometimes. Occasionally you can tell exactly where things changed, other times... it's more like everything got taken apart and put back together funny.
