I've always got Aegis and my bow and knives to hand anyway but we should make sure we all raid the armory and see if we've got anything else useful. Nico, your sword should work on fairies, right? Stygian iron and cold iron have got to be pretty similar.

	It's rare you find something a lightsaber won't work on. But I guess this is one of those cases. I wonder if the Force still works or they'll be impervious to it like the Yuuzhan Vong were. (Reply to this) (Parent)

	Only thing it hasn't worked on so far is our world werewolves, so unless they have some other special qualities, the Stygian iron should be fine. (Reply to this) (Thread)

	Sounds better than much else we have. Hunter weapons are mostly silver or something I think. I can keep my spear on hand, that's Celestial bronze, but I don't know if fairies are enough like monsters for that. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	That is the main question, isn't it? From how people are talking, it sounds like they'd count more as monsters than mortals from our world, but we might not get a full on answer until we stumble on one. (Reply to this) (Parent)

	I don't know. We don't exactly use much pure iron these days, it's heavy and rusts easily. (Reply to this) (Parent)
