Has anything "claiming" happened to people here? Has anyone disappeared today? Thirteen souls claimed that we must get back is not the most promising of invitations, even when announced politely on high quality paper in calligraphy. Given what I have seen and heard, it seems like words to be taken literally. Beyond that, it could sound promising.

	Hard call. Faeries differ between the realities. The only fairy I ever knew wouldn't have cared what someone was wearing. But she'd not have sent out an invitation to a dance under threat of capturing souls, either. (Reply to this) (Thread)

	I have read stories of faeries but never interacted with them. But much of it is rule based, and with invitations sent out in advance, I would not be surprised if proper dress is one of the rules. Right now, I would much prefer the fairy you know. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Formal, for a start. And it most likely will not be in the line of today's fashion. At least, it should have some other inspiration. The invitation is written in calligraphy on nice paper, of fae origin. There are movies/tv shows with fae, which could provide some early ideas. But there's also only so much time. So we may not find perfect outfits. It should at least get our feet in the door.

Welsh fairies in my world claim people. Children, specifically. However they usually only do one at a time and they do not give you a chance to get them back. They don't give a shit about announcing their intentions to anyone besides the claimed child either. We'd better hope that means these ones are different because last time I encountered them it did not go well for us mortals.
