The Tumbleweed F.D. is having volunteer tryouts today. If you're interested in helping the department out or just thinking about learning more, just swing by. They'll also have one of the trucks out for the kids and a bunch of safety tips for all.

Not sure about the swinging anymore, but I've got two kids that would love to try their best to hit all the buttons inside a fire truck. One knows you can obliterate ear drums with a siren, and the other is just enthusiastic about the color red.

Hopefully not but you can't train volunteers while a fire is happening.
