[Filtered to the Paraguay team and FNRB base members]

We've discovered another portal here. It appears to have gone offline on the date of the attack on soldiers at our base during the 90s and then come online again the day of the attack.

There are records of others having come through this portal. I'm enclosing their names and the information we have about them in a file. We need someone to try and locate where they might currently be.

We have a body to transport back for an autopsy as well as several photographs and video evidence to go through.

We're still working through numerous sources of material here and will report in anything else we might find.

If you have been on shift for more than 12 hours today, you are required to utilize the room designated for rest and get a few hours of sleep before continuing with work.

If it's back online, does this mean Paraguay's going to become an ongoing security concern for new arrivals?

That's a definite concern that I have.

It seems to have gone offline for the moment again, but considering it has done so before that hardly means much.

We may want to hack into the system here so that we can have immediate access to what occurs. It wouldn't surprise me if they shut this station down as they did the one in Tumbleweed, leaving the place to rot and a portal to do as it pleases.

If we're lucky. If they shut down because of the newly increased risk perception rather than immediate danger they may have taken the time to be more thorough. People who are stressed and nervous take shortcuts though so it's possible they went with an attitude of "good enough" and just trusted that the building would remain secure.

Exactly. And with the activity itself taking place here people would be less likely to think the closure of a base in Paraguay to be something worth investigating.

That seems potentially complicated and likely not the sort of thing you can just set up and leave running. I suppose a quick hack would be to place another portal directly on top of the one already there so that anyone coming through would only actually be in Paraguay for an instant. We'd definitely still want a surveillance system as back up, though.
