I realized that I have not introduced myself, even though I've popped around to various posts. I'm Sergeant Amy Santiago, formerly of the NYPD and currently of the Tumbleweed Sheriff's Department. I arrived almost a month ago and would like to say that I am completely settled here, but that would be a lie. I'm not very good at lying, as Jake can attest, so it better not to ask me questions that you may not want to know my answer to.

I like stationery stores (of which there are none here), TED talks, documentaries, puzzles, and learning new things. I am a Type A personality, which means that I will most definitely get on your nerves so stuff it before I stuff you.

If you see my husband around, I recommend giving him attention, otherwise he will fight harder for it.

Why are there no good stationery or pen stores here?

5th Avenue in Odessa has Corley Paper & Box Co, Total Office Solutions of West Texas, Service Office Supplies, and Joann's in a one mile stretch.

Don't worry. It's freely given.

I just made my quarterly divider and file folder order so we shouldn't be competing.

I have a good deal of supplies in my apartment, but I love to peruse and find new things to help my productivity.

I just can't order online unless I know exactly what I'm getting.

Sure but office supplies are kind of a living collection. Maybe you have to use your octopus paperclips because you're writing a report on HYDRA and then where are you going to replace them?

That's a great guideline. But once we get out of street festival season you're going to miss out on a lot of etsy.

You have to know the quality so you have to run them through rigorous tests. If they don't clip your papers, then they're useless. What are those tiny paperclips for? Toddler papers?

Etsy is so hit or miss.

The internet is always a thing. I mean, there's space pens which aren't that sparkly but super reliable.

Ballpoint pens are monstrosities. Your hand is guaranteed to cramp in the first 10 minutes of writing.

Fountain pens or GTFO?

My favorite pen was fountain, but you have to use a very specific waterproof ink or else someone spilling coffee all over the papers will ruin your day.

A pleasure to see you are well, Sergeant.

How are you, Doctor?

Well, it is unfortunate. I am grateful for those with magic that have seen fit to make rings to keep me from having to suffer these temperatures. Otherwise, I think I prefer Chicago.

Well enough. Busy. Are you well outside of your on going dilemma?

Well, we're all probably used to it. At least someone is bound to care very seriously about something or another. Maria is the organized spine of our group.

Pay a teleporter, take a day trip to NYC.

That's apparently a thing here.

The teleporter going rate is like $50 and that can get you anywhere in the world. I like going to different places in New York depending on if I need stationary, pens, index cards, etc.

I don't know if I'd say I'm into it but I'm really particular about which kind I use for various things.

Especially when color coding.

Really? I'm going to have to go digging. I think my favorite was The Magic of Not Giving a ****. I'm still struggling with it, but I did have a brief period where I was just chill and not my usual high strung self, despite all the chaos going on around us at one point. It was really not natural.

That sounds stressful. Chill people are nowhere near as efficient and make mistakes.
