When TSA tells you to get rid of your drink before passing through security, apparently chugging it isn't on the list of approved options from the collective expressions.

Coffee. Espresso. Don't care, need it.

I'd do it purely out of spite.

Why'd you think I got the look?

Because TSA agents are nearly soulless.

Well, that too. On the whole, airports are a cesspool of misery that make me want to drink. Not touching the tin cans with wings and the lack of personal space.

There are no time zones once you pass security. It's perfectly acceptable to drink whenever you want in an airport.

Might as well get what you can in the airport before you get on a plane and they start charging you a kidney for a tiny bottle that does nothing to lessen the desire to kill your seatmate. Be honest with me, is there something about me that says pillow and drool rag?

It's the hair.

Really? I thought that just explained the petting.

It's definitely the hair. Fluffy = pillow.

I'll take it. Worse things in life than being blessed with a full head of fluffy hair, even if it attracts weird strangers with no personal space boundaries.

I guess that's one way to do it.

Hey, I'm not going to leave a perfectly good drink to the trash. In my defense, no one said I couldn't. Something something shouldn't something.

Lol. Well, everyone's got their way of handling it. Not that I really blame you for drinking it anyway.

I just thought I'd do my duty as a good citizen and share in case anyone else was in that situation. Not that it brings trouble but disapproval, some people care about that.

Ehhh. I haven't done much by way of flying as of yet. I'm learning to sky dive, though. I feel like you're probably not the only one.

Sky diving's fun. Not so much the last time though with the screaming partner and chasing the chute. I don't care much what people think. I can understand why others do though.

It's not as terrifying as I felt like it'd be. Still a little bit, though. I hope never to be the screaming partner. I've probably been a bit more on the caring side, but growing up with my sister Wynonna's kind of made me used to the other side of things.

Nah, most of the time it's not. It's also an important life skill if you ever get caught on a plane going down. I mean, that's what happened to us and the chute left the plane before we did, so I guess I can't blame him. Nothing wrong with caring, kid. Sometimes it's just hard to handle. You gotta be built pretty solid to care.

Oh man. That would probably lead to screaming. Yeah. Yep. I hope never to do that either. I know. That's what they tell me. I've made it through a lot, so I'm probably doing pretty good on that front.

Arms to the side of your body, aim for the falling chute. Just in case you ever are. Well, as someone who's seen a lot of bad in the world, I've always admired the people that just keep trying to be kind. They got a hard job ahead of them and not every day is going to work out, but they try and that makes him stronger than a lot.

Thank you for the tip. I will 100% try to remember that. Bad is definitely part of the equation for a lot of people. I'm pretty stubbornly optimistic. There are a few exceptions, but [...] I guess that's part of the package, too.

Can't expect someone to be optimistic all the time. If they are, you start to wonder what they're on or how insane they are. Bad happens, we get knocked down, some of us try to get back up again. All we can do.
