Well, I'm glad I set part of that harvest aside before market, because I've been completely cleaned out. Time to adjust the projections in my bullet journal.

Is anyone interested in doing something for Crash Day?

Did you say bullet journal?

It's the easiest way to keep track of everything going on.

You know, I met Ryder Carroll at one of my planner conventions.

Conventions aren't really the sort of thing I've had time for. Though I suppose there's a lot less going on here.

When something's really important, I make time. Work comes first, of course, but you can't lose yourself in the job.

At least that's what everyone tells me, but I'm really not sure they know what they're talking about.

That's the problem, I think. There really isn't much downtime in helping run a country.

Oh! Are you in government? Senator? House of Representatives? Secretary of State?

Former queen of Wakanda.

Oh, I've never heard of Wakanda. Is that a country specific to your universe?

It seems to be. Or at least several very similar universes. It's in East Africa, but I'm from Kenya by way of Egypt originally.

Egypt is quite a ways away from Kenya. Did you move around a lot when you were younger?

A fair amount, yes. I went back to Kenya for a few years as a teenager before I emigrated to America.

What do you grow?

Plants? a lot of the standard fruits and vegetables you can generally find in the grocery store. I have samples of plants from the different worlds we visited on the cruise as well, but obviously I don't take those to market.

Of course.

May I see them sometime? Would you should me how to grow things?

I can show you. Growing plants definitely has a learning curve. If you go with what's recommended for the local climate it can be done fairly easily, but you do have a higher risk of losing them to pests and unexpected weather. Going beyond that can take more study and experience to recognise warnings and patterns and learn things like how plants can help each other when planted together.

That sounds like a lot, but I think I can do it.
