Where'd you go even getting a dog that big?

We're passing through Arizona and met this good boy's owner at a gas station.

I want to keep him, Rogue.

He looks like a handful of fun.

How's the trip going?

He is. We had to say goodbye, but I swear that dog was saying, 'Take me with you, Napoleon!'

Very well. We've seen some pretty strange things that make up America. It's been an experience for us both.

We could always go getting ya a dog when y'all end up getting back here.

I did that area a couple of years back in my world. It's got some pretty breathtaking views. Hot as hell though.

Maybe. I'd have to clear it with the others.

The heat leaves a lot to be desired. Any recommendations while we're traveling the route?

Sounds like something you're gonna wanna do.

Thank god for AC. Y'all passed the Cadillac graveyard yet?

We did. Gaby nearly cried seeing those Cadillacs in the ground.

That sounds like something she'd do doing.

If'n it wasn't so hot right now I'd recommend camping out along the way. Doing the whole roasting marshmallows and sleeping under the stars.

That is a big dog.

He dwarfs Gaby completely, which I find hilarious.

I'm trying to picture this and it's definitely amusing. What kind of dog is it?

I was told he was an Akita. Apparently they get rather large.

Do you think it would be as hilarious after we stole the dog, and you spent the rest of the trip in the passenger's seat with that beast on your lap and the wind whipping his slobber into your face?

Yes. That sounds like a dream. But we can't steal him, he seems pretty fond of his current owner.

You know he won you over with that slobber.

Not even a little bit. I could appreciate his soft, bearlike appearance, but rain gear should not be a requirement for dog ownership.

So that's a no, if I want to bring someone similar home?

I'm assuming you mean canine? Either way, I'm not cleaning up after the spit faucet.

Definitely canine. I'm not much for cats. And I would never expect anyone else to clean up after my pets, but I thought it would only be polite to ask before I brought a pet home.

Not the distinction I was referring to, but it is good to know all the same.

While he looked like a bear, I won't bring home an actual bear.

It will have to compete for attention with our own Russian bear.

That wouldn't be a competition at all.

He does seem to be that way, yes. I get the feeling he would be very tall and I'm not sure that I'm tall enough to handle him standing up.

WOAH. THAT IS A GIANT DOG! I like him. Everyone here has a lot of dogs. THERE WERE SO MANY! Rufus doesn't like them a lot, but he's a cat so that's not really surprising!

He is pretty big, but unfortunately, he won't be joining this community's dogs.

That's too bad, but also probably good. There's lots of dogs AND POKEMON. Thankfully no actual Pidgeys. Just metaphorical ones.
