"It's fine," she said, a reassurance that she wasn't sure was convincing. There were things she was willing to accept blame for, and to admit were entirely her fault, and many of those were going to be likely well known in the near future. She just would not take on blame for something she hadn't caused.
"No, I get that. I just mean we keep getting these scraps of information and it doesn't do us any real good here, does it? Some of it is helpful but others make things more complicated." She sighed.
"It is making what happens here hard to maintain." She thought of Takashi now and her throat breath gave a hitch. "You were riding the wave of euphoria. Positive outlook was in the cards," she commented, knowing what he was refering to.
"What would you have done if Eliot didn't know?" She asked, all of the sudden.
