Who: Open to all Displaced Where Camp Half-blood When: Thursday 21 June 5pm onwards What: Summer solstice celebration Warnings: I shouldn't think so
Down at camp everything is set up outside. The bonfire is being built up and a nearby table has supplies for roasting apples, marshmallows and s'mores. There's plenty of food, mostly traditional bbq fare (more chicken and pork than beef though) and lots of fruit like oranges and early apples. Non-alcoholic cider, juice, soda and water flavoured with fruits are available to drink. Dessert features strawberry cake with vanilla icing, banana split lasagna, and tons of ice cream stuff. Flowers and other plant-y things predominate the decorations, and you can find an area where you can use some of them to make a flower crown so you can be all fancy. The apple tree has colourful ribbons tied to all the branches. If you really want you can go down to the back of the property and practice your archery too.
There is a pool. (And spare towels.) There is a low wooden barrel full of water balloons. There are blankets on the lawn and music playing. There is bubble blowing stuff.
You are welcome to bring any extra food, fun and ....drinks. Yeah, that one doesn't start with f. Just try to keep your alcohol away from minors.
