If I'm going to get a burger, the last place I would think is IHOP. I'd go to Shake Shack or Chicken Cow or — have you been to Whataburger? It's Texas only, but oh man, it's so so good.

I think this is going to require a scientifically rigorous survey of Tumbleweed area burgers. I'll write up a grant proposal to Mr. Stark. It could be very important for the sake of the community.

I lived in New York City. You could get a burger, pizza, or diner food any time of the day. No one goes there for burgers. NO ONE.

I think Moon Pie tweeted it best by writing to the effect that you spend decades establishing a brand name so people remember you, and then you go changing it? Was Ihop doing that bad that it needed this to be done?

Remember when Coke changed its formula in the 80's? It sort of reminds me of that.

How's the saying go? Any publicity is good publicity? Pretty much the same thing happened with Coke. Some liked the new recipe, but fans made a fuss. And this is back in the days before internet, when dinosaurs roamed the Earth! Then Coke changed its formula back to the original, but kept New Coke as an option.

They also did a Lime-Coke, and the advertising went, "Put the lime in the Coke, you nut".

Way to make me feel like ancient history.
