[Severus Snape]

If you had to, how quickly do you think you could take the wards around my place down? Marina and I are good. I want to know if they could be better. You up for it?

[Tony Stark (MCU)]
I don't remember much from the power swap but apparently I tried to give myself notes on Mark XLII armor? Have you thought about solving the cooling system issue with magic?

With only the rudimentary knowledge of the magic you do, I don't want to say I could take them down easily. If it were my world, most wards done by one or two magicians, could be taken down fairly simply. The wards around old manors, like the Malfoy's, or the wards around Hogwarts or the Ministry, for instance, would be more of a challenge.

But I only know your magic somewhat.

I could look at them though.

Thank you. Not going to lie, I'm kind of looking forward to seeing what you can do and what you think.

How many wards did the two of you later over it? Or is that spoilers?

I think for round one, I'm going to have to plead spoilers.

Fair enough. It wouldn't be a true test if I knew.

When would work for you?

Weekday mornings I work, but I don't have a set schedule the rest of the time. What works for you?

I do not currently have a set schedule either, so I could come in the afternoon on Monday.

Excellent. I'll see you then.

If you meet Marina, I'm just going to apologize in advance.

Marina is your roommate?

I have dealt with Hogwarts students for years now, I suspect I can handle her.

You also held your own against Death Eaters. That doesn't mean

She is. The Marina in my timeline is dead, but this is a Marina from another timeline. She might reference the fact I got her killed that fact occasionally if you meet her.

I see, the fact that you are used to this multiple timeline thing is something I don't know if I will ever quite get over.

You are friends then?

I see. I have some of those relationships as well. And it is none of my business about yours. I will come by say in the afternoon? And I'll see how I can manage with your wards. If they are very good, you may have to teach me some things, if you can.

I'd like that. Did you want to spend some time on wandless casting? I'm happy to show you more of that as well.

I was admittedly more preoccupied with portal concerns when we weren't focused on the power swap conundrum.

Well, I had a little more free time than you did.

I'm pretty sure I could solve the issue faster with magic than I could with science anyway. You mind if I give it a shot?

Speed isn't the issue. If I wanted it done fast, I could whip something up in no time. But half the fun is experimenting.

What do you propose for stakes?

If I win, you have to go clean shaven for a week.

Seems like you've had a head start.

I haven't been clean-shaven since the early 90s. Okay, fine. But when I win, you have to go up in the suit. Not just inside the suit. I'm talking full on flight.
