I suppose it was inevitable. Our Growlithe is now officially known as Skylar. It didn't matter that he looks like a canine. Helena's dead set on it and she's got him coming at the call of the name now.

She's asked if we can get a dog house. Of course, after asking for it, she promptly told me that he still needed to sleep inside. I think she wants the dog house more as a play house of her own than for him.

LADY MARY CRAWLEY

Hello, Mary.

I've been well. It's taken a bit of time to get reacquainted to our lives here but I think we're finally in a groove. And how have you been?

And getting used to the new family pet, I see.

I've been... well honestly it's been.. a bit of a struggle.

Multiple, in fact. Luna brought back a pokemon as well ans there's a possibility that we may soon acquire a kitten for Credence. It is far more animals than I ever expected to have but it makes them happy.

May I ask what has been a trouble? Perhaps I can help?

Goodness, your house is full. My Pokémon is a small bird. It’s just her and I in my house.

There’s so much to get used to here. While I learned about the internet and how to use a device like this while we were on the cruise, here I find that there are still so many things that I don’t know how to do. I never learned to drive, though these cars seem like... spaceships compared to what I am used to anyway. I have to get a job and I’ve never really had a proper one before. It’s... a lot.

It truly is. Back home, it was just myself. Helena would visit on select weekends but it was usually very quiet. And now I've got four others under my roof ignoring the animals.

I suspected that might be sort of what was the case. I would offer to help you learn how to drive a car but I've never actually taken the time to learn myself. Helena's becoming a bit obsessed with them however and Mr. Lynch is entirely to blame. I'm not sure if you've made his acquaintance yet? Anyway, it certainly is a lot and a great deal of my family is actually in a similar situation. I'd be more than glad to try to help you.

What kind of job were you considering now that you've seen what Tumbleweed is like?

Forgive me if this seems a rather personal question, but is Helena your ward or is she your natural child?

I don’t believe I’ve met Mr. Lynch, no. I would appreciate any help you could give me, honestly. This will probably make me sound like a spoiled rich girl, but I never learned how to cook either. I can scramble eggs and boil water for tea. That’s it. I’m not sure how to properly clean things either. And I’m lonely.

Mycroft wishes to start a sort of antique shop with the loot we amassed from the cruise, so eventually I plan to work there. There’s another antique shop in town that I will probably apply to in the meantime to earn some money and spy a bit on the competition, as it were.

Helena is actually mine. Her Mother and I are separated and she stays with her the majority of the time. Or did. It's been so long since I've been home that the arrangement doesn't feel familiar any longer. I suppose should Wendy ever arrive, we'd have to discuss it once again. It would be very difficult.

He likely wouldn't want to be referred to as Mr. Lynch but it's a bad habit. His name is Ronan and he has an amusement area of sorts where you can drive smaller cars around a track. Helena's obsessed. I wouldn't think of you in that manner. I cannot cook either. Up until Jamie's arrival, we survived on a great deal of take out. My brother's insistent on cooking more frequently. I'll admit to cheating when it comes to cleaning. Those are very useful charms to use.

Did he manage to keep a good deal of the loot? Is it enough for a shop? And it's always healthy to spy on the competition.

She does look like you, so that makes sense. She’s a sweet girl, Albus. And she’ll probably learn to drive before I do.

I’m glad that you don’t think of me that way. Lately I’ve been using services that deliver food, though they might eventually become too costly to do regularly. I’ve never had to live like that. I suppose it just takes getting used to.

Oh, yes. He amassed a large amount of items, since everything was free, and had me do the same. I’d say we have a substantial inventory.

The poor girl has inherited the Potter's unruly hair and I feel awful for passing that down to her. And considering she can name more automobiles than I can, I wouldn't be surprised if she beats either of us.

It can be a bit of a money pinch if you do take away too often. Have you been shown how to use the microwave yet? I don't regularly recommend frozen meals but they aren't too bad if you are not adept at the kitchen. In the mean time, could I perhaps treat you to dinner sometime this week?

That was a clever move. My Uncle is very savvy with the ins and outs of banks. Perhaps he could help you and Mycroft acquire a business loan?

She’s quite an adorable little girl though. She must have inherited her looks from you as well.

The microwave is that... box thing, isn’t it? I admit I’ve not touched much in the kitchen except plates and utensils. I’d love to be shown how to use it, and I’d especially love to join you for dinner this week.

Really? Yes, if you can put me in touch with him that would be wonderful.

You’re not like most men here, you know?

You and her were the same age in the Mountain for several months. You were sort of her immediate playmate.

So, I'm being honest when I say she picked some of it up from you.
