I can't actually say I'm too impressed that the portal decided to take us off the party boat too early for my birthday, but not early enough to actually plan or book anything worth doing. Ugh. Think there's anything happening in the area this weekend? Preferably something other than fighting off whatever terrifying demon creature decided the it didn't like the military.

It's the poolside/dressing up/mingling I'm mostly interested in, to be fair. But yes, they didn't exactly have a wide range of styles and media.

The first one was creepy Hand ninja magic, they resurrect people brainwashed under their control. It never really felt like I'd died though. I think the second time was worse even though I never actually experienced it because it lasted so much longer. It must have been about two years I spent here knowing that if I went back I'd have a couple of days and that would be it, and I wouldn't even know it while it was happening. It definitely makes the idea that turning thirty makes you old look very, very silly.

A little over a day. My intention is to stop along the way, as my engagements are not until Monday, but I will use that time to process some thoughts. So if you would like to be there immediately, it may not be your best option. But it is an option.
