I couldn't be more delighted to share a residence with Miss Carter in the house Mr Stark gave her. It was rather unexpected to find myself here this morning, but so is everything since the portal collected me. The familiar surroundings make the transition into these very unfamiliar circumstances much easier. Miss Carter's niece, and Miss Martinelli are also living here, and while this may sound unusual, I assure you nothing inappropriate is going on. I am a happily married man.

The pokemon I selected seems to be making her adjustment to Tumbleweed well. Bounsweet It almost sounds French, if you pronounce it just so. Which is why I've named her Fleur. It's appropriate, when you consider she's a flower-type pokemon.

I do wish my wife were here.

[Private to Tony Stark (MUC)]

While, people are discussing the need to get the paperwork of new arrivals in order, my offer as butler still stands. I was pleased to serve your father, and would be even more so to continue serving you.

Nice to see you've stuck with us.

Stuck with you? In what way?

Come back. Just that you're still here.

Oh yes, I see. I didn't think we had a choice in the matter of coming and going.

Were you in Tumbleweed before? Has it really changed as much as I've read?

I don't think we do, but some people get lost in the shuffle, I guess.

I was, yes. It seems to have.

I suppose so. I'm at odds with my feelings about being here. In one sense, it's quite exciting, a sort of adventure. On the other hand, there are elements from home which I miss very much.

The cars in Tumbleweed. Have they always been this [...] futuristic?

I guess that makes sense.

I think they've been this way for a while, but it's 2018.

That's what I mean. Futuristic and stream lined. More like an aeroplane than a automobile.

I guess? I don't know if airplanes and automobiles are similar.

Perhaps? I'm much better at discussing books than cars, though. So you could be right.

I thought so, too. When I was in the army and temporarily stationed in Morocco, I met a extraordinary lady with that name. She was the secretary to General Jean de Lattre de Tassigny. Since then, I've always been fond of the name.

My wife's name is Fleur. So I understand a fondness for it. It's one of my favourites.

I wish I could. She is not here, though. She was for a while. A bit from the future, but she left. Not because she chose to, but still gone.

My sincere apologies. I did not know. It must be terrible for that to happen, I can only imagine how you must feel.

My wife's name is Ana. I met her in Hungary, before war broke out. She is also an extraordinary woman.

Perhaps there's a chance that both may still appear? At least, that's the hope I cling to.

It's not your fault. It is difficult.

She sounds nice. I'm sorry she isn't here with you. I met Fleur at Gringotts. We were both working at the bank during the war. She told my mum off for doubting her willingness to stay with me after I was attacked and disfigured. I don't recall it, but I was told about it after the fact. Anyone that can stand up to Mum is definitely something.

There is always hope.

Gringotts is a bank? Where is it located? France? May I ask, which war was this that you mentioned? Certainly not WWII? I'm sorry to hear that you were disfigured, was this on account of the war? Were you in the armed forces?

Yes. It's located in England, actually. London. The second Wizarding War. It was 1997. This was on account of a crazed lunatic who also happened to be a werewolf. Not all of them are bad, but this one was. I was part of the Order of the Phoenix.

Oh. This must be one of those alternative universes I've been hearing so much about.

I'm from fifty years prior. I'm fairly sure things have not changed that much during that time.

Alternate universe, different world. It's about the same, I think? There are books and movies. Harry Potter. I'm Bill Weasley.

Mm. My parents might know better than I do about the changes since then.

A pleasure to meet you, Mr Weasley. My name is Edwin Jarvis, up to recently I was the personal manservant of Mr Howard Stark. Currently, I'm quite at odds with what to do with myself.

It's nice to meet you as well. I used to be a Cursebreaker before I switched to working at the Bank. But I was technically working for the bank as well, bringing back treasure. I'm lucky that my brother has a place and needs someone who can handle the finances.

I have time for a quick tour before I head out, if you want to come by. I'll show you the ropes. We can see about getting the ball rolling on the financial side of things. I should have an appraisal on file, but I'm not sure how up-to-date it is.

Yes, I am. But you're also Howard Stark's son and heir, so if you want to be technical, it belongs to you.

However, if you so much as put a ding in the chrome, I shall be very cross.

Any property that doesn’t house the man himself is preferred.

No need to worry about me, Mr. Jarvis. Unless you’re ever making coffee, and then make enough for me.

Howard Stark [...] does have his faults, but he's not a bad man.

I'd be delighted to make coffee. I'm very familiar with the kitchen, everything is as it was the last time I'd been here, and is fully stocked.
