What's this Tumbleweed place like?

In the town I'm from, most people worked in the mines. I'd be willing to do that to survive. Better than what I used to do.

Did anyone keep a Pokemon for it's skill or was this all based on looks? I'm keeping Hawlucha to help with hunting.

...There is a place to hunt, right?

[PANEM]

From what I understand, I'll be living in the Odair house?

It used to be a really small town, now it's a little larger. It changed after we went back into the past and saved some of the residents.

There's not much in the way of hunting grounds, and technically you're supposed to have a license for it. I had one for a season but I'll probably have to get another when we get back. I'll show you the places I've found.

That's where I was staying. You can stay in my room if you want. I'm sure Annie or Finnick wouldn't mind.

Thanks, Annie. We should stick together.

Does Jo live with you too?

No, it's just me and Finnick and Katniss and the kids. Jo has her own house. We offered for her to move in, but she didn't want to.

I'll help around the house, and with the kids.

Jo's a weird kid.

That's not required, but always appreciated, of course.

Aren't we all?

I'll get a license, no problem. At least it's legal.

I'd like to stay in your room. Your bed big enough?

I think so, although you are pretty big.

Yeah, for the combination one. Trapping and hunting and fishing.

I think we can make it work. [...] Finnick painted a tree on my bedroom wall for me.

I kept mine for its skill. I was looking for a fire type in particular.

It is also super cute, though, which doesn't hurt.

Why do you need fire?

My as of now nameless bird is a fighter. I think he'll be good for attacking other birds.

Fire comes in really handy against monsters and ghosts. It's both destructive and purifying.

Any fighting type could come in handy around here, of course.

That's more my world than any of the ones I've seen so far, but it still seemed the most useful for me.

I don't think there's anything for mining in the area. Ya any good with building things?

I was actually building a house when I got pulled onto the boat.

It's settled. Most people in that world are disconnected from any real production of goods. Someone else farms the food, it gets brought to a factory and turned into other food products, someone ships it to stores, someone sells it, someone buys it with money they got from doing something else. Not so much hunting, basically all meat is farmed because it's way more efficient and easy to feed large numbers of people and you're less likely to eat something that was sick. There's farms and ranches and shit in Tumbleweed though so it's not as bad as the cities for that.

Probably about right. We weren't paying for where we lived or the power or gas, but we paid for food, entertainment, clothes or whatever else we needed. Way more stability than a lot of places I've been, but not this crazy fancy party here.
