That is a manipulation of the body I have not seen before. Only the priests have a balance of the elements to affect life. They can take the elements to grow a plant, for example, or a sleeping spell. But that is remarkable that it could even be possible.
I have dealt with truly horrible people before. Pirates are not particularly known for their good character. Though, honestly, they are not particularly worse than many people in London. But your hesitation makes me wonder whether I need further warning. It would, here, be only theoretical and hypothetical. Were it something that would happen, I would take more rigorous concern in the character of anyone to do such a thing.
Man and magic is in balance. What you have called muggles, people with no magic, do not truly exist in my world (though most people in another world have been characterized that way). They are within me, within each of us in my world. You cannot have one without the other, and in balance life continues and carries on. However, in one world magic grew too strong. Somehow a piece of magic gained sentience and consumed the entire world, overwhelming man and element until nothing else existed, no life. It was closed off, locked to remain in that world.
