I didn't wear a dress. It can be harder to find nice formal trousers but it's possible.

I tried a dress because I wanted to cover up my brace. It worked, but I don't think I'll be doing that again.

A loose jumpsuit or wide legged trousers might work. But you don't have to hide it.
