A sense of relief washed over him at Gaby's words. Illya finally felt like he could relax, relieved that Gaby wasn't going to leave him. He moved closer to her and tentatively put his hands on her upper arms.
"I am sorry that we kept the secret from you, though I am sure you know why. Men are not supposed to do what we did."
He wasn't even sure if he believed that, but it was the generally accepted notion in both Solo's country and his own at the time. It was considered unnatural, even if it had felt incredibly good at the time.
