I'll give Violet this, she didn't over-state the pretty much amazing coolness of Middle Earth.

I also just want to give a head's up, if you see a astromech roaming around that you don't recognize, that's mine; his name is Fiver, and he's taking this whole Assassins game thing really seriously. Let me know if he gives anyone any trouble ~~he shouldn't cause I don't think he's creative enough yet to think too terribly outside his programmin~~

I've got a non-urgent question for you.

Originally, I was thinking about going to university next year, but the whole being just pulled from school mid-year made me think, maybe that's not the best idea. Cause who knows if this is going to be a 'hey, you were at home learning stuff and everything is cool' sort of situation, or a 'surprise you've been gone for three months and probably the portal didn't have enough courtesy to drop you from classes before its too late for a refund so have fun with extra student loans and F's on your transcripts' sort of situation. And the whole unpredictability of it makes me wonder if there are better things to do.

I'm good with mechanics stuff, and a lot of the aerospace engineering stuff I wanted to go to school for isn't out of reach just by applying myself to reading and doing probably.

So I guess, I'm feeling out options - would you potentially have a job for me, full time, when I finish up high school?

	I'm looking at reservations at some of the places here. Y'know, for dinner to go with the cupcakes and stuff. I'm sort of missing the space ship for options of stuff to do... 	That seems good. It's hard to figure out where to do things. Bianca and I had the same problem with yours. I mean, maybe if Percy's birthday party happens while we're on the ship - pool party - and done. I picked up a chest for her, so if the tiara fits inside we could give her that together. I know your skills with engineering and I don't need a school degree to tell me how good they are. 	Yeah, like I like the idea of doing classes, a lot but it's always so weird here, and I also like working with you, and I figure we could do some pretty cool stuff together probably. I get you. I know Violet's had that worry right now with the whole fact that, yeah, you can keep your studies up, but attendance matters so much more for college courses than high school classes and who knows if the government will write everyone an excuse to let them make up all their work.

Yeah, a lot is still up in the air until we see what we come back to, but regardless, you have an opening, Anakin, for however much time you want. I'll make the paperwork work with whatever you want.

Thanks man. That's good to have the option anyway, and I'll try to figure it out a bit better, but I figured if you had enough folks around or didn't have a place for me, that would rule out that possibility and I could focus in on the possible, you know?

But I like your place and it's good fun working with you.

And yeah, I know Violet's got that. And it's like - when we were in space we came back and everything was cool, but then when we were in the past, we were gone for the full amount of time we were in the past. It's hard to make plans with that inconsistency.

It is. Especially as the days keep going on. A week or two is one thing. Going into months... That's deadlines wooshing by without knowing if you totally fucked up your relationship with the people who hired you.

If you need help with stuff, I should be able to help. I have no idea when we'll get back, but if I'm not going to University then my priority with school changes just a little.

Yeah... I hadn't even really thought about it until this year. Like, don't get me wrong - I'm enjoying the different locations. But it's hard not knowing if things are stable at home or not.

	Memory wipes? Yeah. They do them to keep things from getting too busy, but I think it's dumb, and maybe not super cool? Like, you remove all of the droid's personality then. I don't know when the last time was that Artoo had a memory wipe and he works fine. So does Threepio. It always feels deeply impersonal to memory wipe your droid. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Yeah, some people think it's a feature, but I consider it a bug, personally. Like, yeah, it's a factory reset, so sure they may run more cleanly and or more quickly, but you lose any personalization, which in an astromech when they're your co-pilot? The personalization is nice. Artoo runs so fast with Uncle Luke. I only hope for that much ability with Fiver. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Yeah, there are a couple. And also, when they power up, in theory some of that happens automatically in the system? So there's that, but you can run more serious and lengthy options periodically if you want. It's a longer process, so I think that's why people tend to do the factory reset, and that does have its advantages I guess, but even if I didn't prefer them being able to work with you, it feels like kind of a shitty thing to do. That's probably cause our droids tend to be much more part of the family.
