You could tell me about what you remember, and I could try to ask them, or look it up if they'd prefer, in the name of science. Of course, you'd all have to trust me; I wouldn't do it otherwise. And if you don't have the right memories, then I guess the point might be moot anyway.
Oh, just universes; there's already far too much information involved when it's just trying to keep track of who's from what world. Even then, I still haven't managed to pin everyone down. I was often by the portal, so between seeing newcomers and observations on the network, I've gotten a fair amount. But there's still less statistical accuracy than I'd like, and I can't really account too well for people who have been here a while before I got here, because they've been absorbed into this community and the lines get blurred. At some point, maybe I'll do a giant survey, see how accurate my guesses are. And if people are up for being surveyed in depth, maybe then I'd start factoring in timelines.
It seems like such a delicate balance, though. And even more dangerous over the network. I I could try it in person, then at least I'll be able to see your head getting bigger if I've gone too far.
