At approximately 12:05pm, all Displaced feel what can only be described as an earthquake. It starts off small, but by 12:08pm, all Displaced have dropped to their knees while natives from Tumbleweed (if you're around any) wonder what kind of drugs you're on. Asking them to get under desks and in door frames gets you some strange looks and "Whyfers?"
At 12:10pm, you pitch forward and instead of hitting the ground or couch or whatever is beneath you, you fall straight into the swirling blue vortex that signified your arrival from your world. You don't stay conscious in the vortex, no matter how hard you try. (Those of you who went to the Prettiest Star will remember this nauseating sensation.)
When you come to, you're sitting in the middle of a theater — stage and all — with the rest of the Displaced. Everyone is placed in seats, scattered around and not in any particular order. You have nothing but your phone with you. Your first instinct will likely be to find your people. This time, though, the theater is enormous and spread out. Families are kept together so parents, your children will be with you.
Almost immediately after you arrive in the Constellation Theater, guides come in. They appear very human, but if you attempt to touch them without their permission, your hand will go completely through them as if they are a ghost. There is a detailed safety lesson for ships. Where the life preservers and lifeboats can be found. On stage, a 3 dimensional hologram shows you where the boats are and how to get there from each floor.
OOC INFORMATION ABOUT THE JUMP
This is where you will put all of your initial reactions, narratives, and what your character is doing during the first jump. We ask that you please refrain from having characters making separate posts asking things like WTF, what happened? Where are we? Where is so-n-so? NATASHA ROMANOFF will be making an initial post that you can all feel free to spam the hell out of.
