No matter how comfortable the room was, I’m glad to be out of quarantine. Somehow, my apartment from San Francisco seems to be here, which is maybe a little weird, but it’s nice to have the familiarity.

Now that I’m out, I plan to do a little exploring. Any suggestions as to what I should check out first?

That's one of the nicest things about this place. People's homes show up, as do their belongings. A complete relocation without the cost that usually comes with moving.

There's a certain comfort to the familiar, I'll admit.

It makes the transition a little easier, I think.

I’d have to agree with that.

I can imagine going from the future to this time period is a culture shock.

A little bit, but I like to think I adapt well to things.

I'd say so. I myself learned to adapt thanks to my travels with the Doctor. Traveling through time and space tends to do that to someone.

Traveling through time isn’t really my forte but I’ve done enough traveling through space to say that’s true.

It's a lot of fun when you've got good company and someone who's used to it. There is the added bonus of learning about other planets and their inhabitants.

That’s why I do what I do. There’s nothing quite like it, is there?

They really isn't. I miss it at times.

I have a feeling I will, too.

It depends on what you're looking for. I mean, not much will be open today really, since it's new year's day.

The inside of our entire house showed up. It had been destroyed in a war but it's just like it was before any of that happened. My old room....everything. It's incredible.

And I'd give you some suggestions on what to see but I don't have a clue. I could ask my brother, he's been here for a while.

That’s amazing. I’m not sure how this place manages it, but I’m not going to complain.

I suppose we could always explore it together, if you’re up for it.

That sounds good. I've been here before so I'm curious to see how much I remember about the town.

We can start with the places you remember and explore the rest.
