I'm well - and my schedule is about to become busier than it was previously. I'm going to be taking piano lessons if I can prove myself an apt student, and begin going to the gym some mornings before work. Millicent would like you to know that she isn't very happy with the fact that your closet is too secure for her to get into.

	I think you did. Please take plenty of pictures while you're there. They seem fairly expensive and take up a lot of room, but it would be nice to be able to practice at home. And yes, it seems that is the general tradition here - take on new tasks and challenges at the start of a new year. I've explained that to her and I promise to keep it closed against her. I will. I think I got a fairly decent one of El yesterday with snow everywhere. We went sledding, which I haven’t done for [...] long enough that I was probably shorter than you are the last time I went. But it was really good.

The expensive might be more of a difficulty, but we have plenty of room I think. Maybe we can find something used in one of those online places for a lot less. Who are you taking lessons from?

There’s at least a 40% possibility she doesn’t even really want in there. It’s just closed and you e said no, so now it’s like a personal challenge to get past the barrier.

	I can't remember ever having the chance to do that myself. I'll look for one soon, if the lessons go well. Mycroft Holmes, a friend and co-worker. My first lesson is this evening. That's very true. Really? ~~Dad~~ I went once as a kid. Not often cause there wasn’t usually time, but I do remember it. Maybe we should figure out a way to take you before winter is over. If you want. I could take you, or I bet Eliot would be into that too.

You can let me know. If we need to get one, I don’t mind helping. If you learn how to play music, I’m guessing that I will benefit from hearing it. I don’t think I know Mycroft. Is he new? Or have I just not met him?

If you look in my bedside drawer there is one of those laser pointers in there. You can have fun seeing just how many seconds she’ll play cool before she is overcome with curiosity.

	I'd like that very much. I took lessons a number of years ago, but never on anything like a piano, so I'm interested in seeing whether or not I'm able to play. He arrived nearly two months ago, I believe ~~around the time that~~. I'm not sure if you've met him, but he was at the ball. Alright, I'll do that. Thanks for the tip. There have been more arrivals. ~~Others will be happy to do that for you~~ They we’re all here on the island if I recall correctly. Mostly Hux and I kept to ourselves for that time so I didn’t speak with them much. It’s good to know though.

Only initially. ~~I don’t know how much she wants to see me.~~ The holiday has been rather busy. ~~I almost don’t want to say this but~~ you should speak with her though.
