Do most people celebrate the holidays from this world, or did you have different ones at home? Seems like there's a lot of stuff that's similar.

Christ, YES!

I guess, basically. Never thought of it that way. The thing is, that there's a religious basis for this holiday, but also a secular one. Santa Claus, also known as Saint Nicholas, reflects the religious side, but the whole idea of a jolly old man handing out presents to good children has pretty much been taken over by the secular. It's great for the stores and businessmen who pressure you to buy gifts and whatnot. It's a big money maker.

What I'm trying to say is, Christmas is what you make of it.

there was the wing ceremony in very ancient days, but these days we simply recognize the day with reenacting the ancient tale of hylia and her hero. there are some celebrations to hylia and the golden goddesses, but i am still trying to place the dates against hyrule's calendar.

and then, my birth day. which sounds terribly like boasting, i know. but whenever the line of my ancestors has their first daughter it is always a celebrated event. i'd much rather do something a lot more simple this time.
