Matt grabbed some oranges and followed. He glanced around as he went, trying to remember if there was something else in this section that he'd meant to grab. If there was, though, he'd been sufficiently distracted enough to forget about it, and nothing was catching his eye. He followed Shaun, since the conversation was interesting, and he also needed milk.
"It's alright," he answered. "I wish I had the tech that I had at home. I'd be getting a lot farther. Instead I'm just trying to modify what they have to be more useful, and also trying to build other things from scratch." He opened one of the doors and pulled out a gallon of milk. "What about you? You like doctoring?"
He glanced over towards the door at the mention of snow. "I don't know what's normal for this universe. It's possible that the rift that allowed us to come here is causing some other changes to this world's weather systems. Heck, I suppose it's possible that the snow itself is from another world." He grinned. "I'm not really sorry for it. I missed Earth snow."
A moment later he realized he hadn't answered the last question. "I haven't been here long, but yes, I think stuff does happen here a lot."
