Rey hadn't been gone very long, and while Leia had done her best — getting dressed in a regal fashion to see her off, smiling, offering the traditional way of saying good luck — nothing would ever be the same for Leia Organa. It was true that she and Han had been off more than they'd been on in the last decade, but love had never been their problem. She refused to think about the how and the who for the moment, lest the whole thing overwhelm her completely. She retreated to her quarters, intending to spend some time grieving in her own way. Until Luke was found and brought back, there would be no solace. She was tired all the way down to her bones.
Leia had always been the curious sort, often to her detriment, and time had not tempered it. Falling through a strange blue void had her more angry than sad, which was something she needed desperately at the moment: something to fight against. It didn't take long before she was unceremoniously dropped onto concrete at the feet of several officers. She was older now, but not so old that she didn't have a few words to say to those who must have kidnapped her.
"You have no idea the amount of druk you're about to be in."
Two of the officers had been starring with their mouths hanging open, then glanced between the two of them. None of them had any guns, which Leia thought was a really stupid move. If she had Luke's kind of power and training, she'd just use the Force to knock them unconscious. Or maybe make them do a little dance. It was up in the air which.
Speaking of the Force, she was suddenly struck by the knowledge that her son was here. Not only that, but he was nearby. He was here, and Han was not. Han would never be here again. The agony inside was intensified briefly, threatening to overtake her but Leia was a survivalist. When pain was too great, she had learned to push, push, push it down. Hold it in a special place in her heart and make it become a part of her. Pain flickered across her face for a moment before she managed to subdue it in front of these men.
"I can see that you're not First Order officers, unless they've given up on regulations." She gestured to unkempt hair and disheveled suits. "So go on, tell me who you are and why you've kidnapped me."
