Re: Arrivals.
Lois arrived wearing a strapless red number and her hair up. This was a chance to get Clark dressed up in a suit, and damn did her man look good.
This being Winry's first ball, she decided to get a little fancy. (Maybe she was channeling her inner-Ed with the choice of red.) Her hair was kept down for the evening.
Serana wasn't one for dressing up. In fact, she hadn't down a dress since she was a girl. However, with the prospect of this being an actual date she had employed Diana's help. She settled on a beautiful dress that could be signified by her recent change from vampire to mortal. She also had her hair professionally done, because what ex-vampire has time for that?
Martha decided to get completely decked out for this event. It wasn't every day she got to wear a pretty dress and party all night. Her hair was left down in a simple, but yet elegant style.
Kagome hadn't gone to many parties that weren't just celebrations for defeating. So this ball event was entirely new to her. That didn't stop her from finding a lovely gown. Her hair was left down in elegant curls. Eat your heart out, Inuyasha!
Going to a ball was not Cele's idea of a good time. She would have rather been guarding the even. But if it made Locke happy she wasn't going to deny him a night of dancing and fun. She had gone out and found a lovely purple dress for the occasion.
Vanille honestly hadn't even considered going to the ball at first, but hey Fang had asked! And if Fang asked, then Vanille was not going to turn it down. They didn't' go to these sort of fancy events back home and she didn't get to wear pretty dresses all that often. So yes, Vanille was more than excited to be there.
Mon-El wasn't too fond of dressing up in dress clothes, but if it meant getting to dance for Kara in a beautiful dress he wasn't about to argue. It was a last minute purchase, but at least he had come in a nice suit and dress shoes.
