I have to say one of the biggest problems with America is the difficulty in sharing extremely specific Welsh jokes. There might be an entire two people who'll find this as funny as I do.

We have a skeleton horse called Mari Lwyd (or Y Fari Lwyd) that visits people around Christmas and recites rhymes outside their houses. You're supposed to beat it in a battle of wits, but traditionally the horse will win and come inside to chase away other bad spirits (and occasionally young women of the house) in exchange for food and drink. Not particularly child-friendly.
