It was October 16th, 2010 when I left.

Get your eyes checked, chica. I never once called your lazy. I said I wasn't one for waiting around, so I very proactively asked the second they mentioned me needing a guardian. You're the one jumping to conclusions here. Forgive moi for offering what was supposed to be a polite suggestion. Don't worry, lesson learned. I won't bother trying to help you out again.

There's this really old house back where I'm from. I'm kind of in love with it. People want to tear it down and replace it with another strip mall. There's nothing wrong with it. It just needs a little love, but nobody wants to give it the right kind but me.

This one's mid-19th century, at a guess, but it's been updated well enough. Definitely the most comfortable of the family holdings I've found.

If you're underage you get a clothing/food allowance allotted to you each month. If you ain't or you wanna be able to spend more'n is allotted then you find a job in order to buy things.

Are there any good thrift shops around here? I've been known to repurpose pieces, though I'll probably do some online shopping as well. Is there any chance my clothes from home might get magically vortexed here, though? Because that'd be great.

I did the same thing as you - asked about a guardian when I was getting out of quarantine. And had one in like five seconds, like you. So this is totally a fine way to do it.
