If you're taking someone you care about to a party, and she really wants to dress up for it, what are you supposed to wear in this time period? How are you supposed to move in it? Because I've seen blue jeans, and I've seen men in business suits, and neither one looks like it's actually practical.

	Suits are usually worn more for a business setting, but they can still look formal like a tuxedo. You typically wear a necktie with a suit, though. Tuxedos are usually worn at fancy parties, weddings, or celebrity events. You can wear a necktie or a bowtie with a tux. (Reply to this) (Parent)

	It's not a noose. But most suits don't look complete without some sort of necktie, if you're going for a formal look. As for casual, you can usually forget about the necktie. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
