Within my short period spent here I have observed a considerable lack of spoken myth and tale. While I know not all cultures are in favor of minstrals and bards I find myself adrift with misgivings about this very specific lack of spoken word.

Are there any stories passed down by word of mouth, or is this a lost art for those here?

Theatre. There's not much around here though. I lived in New York when I was performing.

Is that only where the stories from old live? I find it appalling that this place should be lacking such.

In mainstream society, yes. Most stories have shifted to either a written format or tv and film, it's mostly indigenous cultures that still value oral history and storytelling.

A division of old and new has occurred. A long standing misfortune fallen to many groups across the multiverse I hear where some of the populace walk away from where they have grown while others embrace the ways of old. A differing of stances, a battleground of beliefs and practice where neither side has the take completely right or wrong.

I assume writing here is far more simplistic than the handwritten or printing press of some locales?
