Okay but - when does "after midnight" end?

An astute question. 7 AM is technically after midnight. How long must one wait after midnight before the danger passes? The care instructions for these creatures were incredibly vague.

12:01 is technically after midnight too? They really should have put a start and end time. Don't feed it from midnight to 8 AM or something.
I don't want to fuck this up.

It also begs the question, do these creatures abide by daylight savings time?

Best give it a good eight hours to be on the safe side.

I hadn't even though of that.

There's a guy down there saying until daylight again. That makes sense.

It does make a certain amount of sense, though why midnight? Why not from dusk to dawn? I suspect much of the uncertainty comes from the fact that these creatures and the laws that govern them come from the pages of a film script rather than nature.

Geez I hadn't thought about that. I mean, it's less the start and more the end isn't it?

I watched this film, but way too long ago and I wasn't really paying attention.

I'm watching right now but it's not really giving me much to go on so far. You'd think if they turn evil the instructions would be less vague.

As I recall they are definitely dangerous.

I'm not good with animals.

That's what I'm getting too.

Me either. I think I could handle a cat, but they mostly take care of themselves.

Yeah, I think I could do that. Like, feed it and then let it do it's thing. That I could probably handle.

I got my sister a dog years ago. She likes it. The damn thing follows me around all the time whenever I go home but I'm at least not on the hook for taking care of it. I'd never get one for myself.

I wonder if anyone wants an extra one of these gremlin things.

I mean, Doctor Strange, was it? He seemed to be collecting them.

If I'm remembering right it's until daylight. To be safe I'd make sure the sun is fully up.

That sounds pretty logical. I'll go with that.
