	Admittedly, sometimes I miss being a medical professional. I've seen the movie enough in my lifetime to keep mine safely ~~caged~~ tucked away. I'll be passing it off to more capable hands in the next day or two. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

I don't know what your work on base entails, but the medical staff would surely benefit from your expertise, especially with the wide variety of... travelers they process.

I viewed the film so as to be better prepared to administer to its needs. I can see how they are potentially dangerous, so I can understand what all of the fuss is about. Though, I've found my own to be a calm and gentle little companion.

	That's what I'm doing currently. Hence the missing it. It's different from what I'm used to, but it's nice helping those who arrive. Calm and gentle now. They're very agreeable to begin with, until they want something and they become very tricky. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

It's also an ideal place to keep an ear to the ground for anything useful as far as explaining the mechanics of this force that's behind all the arrivals. The powers that be in the place that I was previously were much more transparent about the vortex and their efforts to understand it.

In the movie, it seemed to be all about the numbers. Any more than one and they seem to egg one another on. The spawn of the main Mogwai character also seemed to have less restraint than the original. I should see if there is any way to determine the generational status of the creatures. Might be able to make their behavior (or misbehavior) a bit more predictable?
