If you've been sent a furry, large eared creature, then for God's sake, please follow the instructions on the box! Don't get it wet, and Don't feed it after midnight. The consequences of doing these things will be nothing short of disastrous for Tumbleweed and all her residents.

I'm thinking of creating a containment area for people to bring their Mogwai to keep them safe. This is a catastrophe waiting to happen.

Thank you. They're relatively harmless in this state, and friendly. If we keep them in a dimly lit area, provide them food and water at a regular schedule, then they ought to be alright.

I'm familiar with them from a film released in the 1980's. Mogwai are cute now, but the reproduce when you get them wet - a painful process that creates offspring that are much more devious than the original. If they are fed after midnight, they transform into creatures called Gremlins, which are downright wicked,
if not murderous.

It's an intelligent, some might say sacred creature. If the rules are not followed, they produce a dangerous offspring, called Gremlins, that are highly destructive by nature. They're not to be trifled with.

If they are all in one central location, and that location gets compromised, it will be an even larger disaster. I'm nervous having four in my home at present. I can't imagine dozens grouped together.

Which is why I fully intend to reinforce the containment unit with spells and to keep it monitored at all times. With so many Mogwai around, in the hands of so many people, the variables are greater, as is the margin of mistakes being made. I'd feel more safe knowing where they all are.

You were responsible for tending to dragons, correct? Perhaps you could help me design a proper pen for them. And I'd appreciate your help to ward the area with spells, to ensure there won't be any chance of escape.

It's not right to persecute them based on a movie from another universe. We don't know if they will be the same. I've made an enclosure for mine and Ed's, I don't want them to be hurt.

I have no intention of persecuting them. I want to see that they're tended for in a humane, and safe manner. If you can ensure that at your home, then so be it. But for now, there's no reason to suspect they're NOT the same creatures the movie, and frankly, I don't want anybody to test that theory.
