Who: Patty Spivot and OPEN
When: Tuesday afternoon
What: Shopping for a last minute costume idea
Where: The mall
Warning/Status: Pretty tame, this is Patty / in-progress
Patty hadn't really thought about going out for Halloween this year. She was in this new place, an entirely new dimension, and as much as she hated to admit it she was having a hard time adjusting. Patty had always prided herself in being resilient. Adaptable. Someone that rolled with the punches, and used her brain to get out of situations rather than her brawn. But there was no way out of this universe and back to her own, not that that was an option at this point. It might have been a good thing to be away from The Flash since the memory of him still stung in an unexpected way.
She let out a soft sigh as she continued to window shop at the mall. She had already found a few items at the craft store for her costume, and now all she needed was the perfect dress. Something that wasn't terribly expensive, and something she could wear more than once. The thrift store was a bust, and the mall was her last hope. She had passed a few high-end shops that were out of her budget, and was about to enter one that looked promising when she was suddenly bumped into from behind.
Patty let out a small ooof, but was agile enough to not drop the bags that she had in her hand. And in typical Patty fashion she spun around to deliver an immediate apology.
"I am so sorry about that," she said with a sheepish grin. "I must have been dragging my feet without realizing it."
