Who: Locke Cole & Celes Chere
What: Awkward Conversations
Where: Locke’s apartment
When: October 18, after this fun conversation
Warnings: Fluff, guys… lots of fluff
Celes had gotten rather flustered over her conversation with Locke. She felt incredibly embarrassed for her own mind having shamelessly gone to… whatever intimate place it had gone to. She was glad they lived in neighboring apartments, although admittedly there were times she wished they shared a place because she could see him anytime she wanted without asking permission. They had never shared a bed, they had only recently had their first real kiss, the only time they had technically lived together was during their adventures with their friends. And yet, she wanted all those things with him. Theirs was a slow moving relationship, mainly because Celes herself had been holding back. Locke, on the other hand, seemed more than willing to move things along. And she would let him… eventually. Or maybe sooner than later. She honestly didn’t know because a physical relationship was so foreign to her. She enjoyed simply touching him, holding him, being held by him. It was a nice change of pace from adventuring and saving the world. Life had finally slowed down, and yet at the same time moved so fast in these instances. Celes relished in this opportunity to become closer to Locke. When beckoned over to Locke’s apartment she happily obliged, even if she did feel quite flustered. She was opening up more, far more than the simple attraction they once had. So much time had passed between them that Locke was aware of most of her grievances, her worries and fears, her insecurities. He was the one person she could always count on to make her feel better, and she could always count on him to make her smile. He had gotten quite good at those. Celes had used her key to his apartment and had crawled into his bed, as flustered as she might have been about that, and snuggled up next to him. Simply being anywhere with Locke made her happy. He was her safe place. She rested her head against his shoulder, smiling contently. “I see you kept the bed warm,” she said in a low voice. Really, the conversation on the network had been pretty entertaining. The adventurer had honestly just meant the invite as exactly what he’d said. Though coming out and straight up saying he was somewhat lonely without Celes by his side, and that he’d love for her to come over and cuddle was…. Well, that just wasn't how he approached these things. He’d said exactly what he meant without intent for double meaning or having any sort of misleading meaning. The fact that Celes was coming over was all he really needed though to have a smile plaster itself across his face rather quickly. However, that didn’t make his apartment any less of a bachelor pad. While he’d done his best to keep it somewhat tidy it didn’t change the fact that he’d quickly discarded whatever clothing and materials hadn’t been needed as soon as he’d gotten home, taken a nice long hot shower - showers were amazing - and then crawled into bed in his boxer shorts and gotten as comfortable as he could prior to all of this. As soon as Celes had agreed to come over though? He’d instantly jumped up, piling things into his arms and shoving them into cabinets and closets as quickly as possible before jumping back into his own bed and attempting to look as casual as possible. A few different poses had been tried. In fact, he’d even attempted to figure out some smooth and sweet line he could use as soon as she came into his view but… They all sounded horrible if he were honest. They were all horrible, but wasn’t that part of what romance was? Bad lines, cheesy dates, and smiling so hard your cheeks hurt? He wouldn’t trade the chance for these things with Celes for anything else in the world. When he’d been able to see her a giant grin had crossed his face. “There’s my favorite treasure.” The corny lines had won. As soon as she’d gotten into the bed and seemed like she was settling in, Locke shifted to wrap his arms around her and cuddle up against the woman in his arms with a happy little sigh. “I’m glad you’re here.” Celes would have loved to have seen Locke running around, picking up his bachelor pad. In fact, that would have been very comical and she would have laughed relentlessly. But that was neither here nor there. Celes herself didn't have much in the way of material possessions and she wasn't exactly a neat freak herself, but you damn well better believe she put her dirty clothes in the hamper. At his one-liner Celes smirked, because even if it was a cheesy line she still found it humorous. If it had been anyone else, she would have given them the bitch stare and told them to jump off a cliff. But she didn't want to do that to Locke because he got a free pass with the cheesy lines. She loved him and therefore, it was okay to be corny. Celes smiled at his last statement, “Me too.” As she lay there with him she realized how lonely it was to be in her apartment all by herself. Honestly, Locke couldn't help the grin that remained on his face after she'd settled into bed with him. This. This was exactly what he'd wanted, exactly what he'd been looking for and exactly what felt right. With another minor shift or two everything seemed aligned perfectly just to lay there with her in his arms too! “How was your day?” The question was asked without a hint of malice, and was even filled with a sincere desire to hear the answer as well before a kiss would be contently placed against the side of her head. Now this? He could completely get used to. Whatever nerves Celes had before, they had quickly gone away by simply lying there with him. Of course, she was was very aware of the fact that he didn't seem to be wearing much underneath that blanket. That wasn't a situation she had ever been in, but she also didn't feel like he was trying to pressure her into anything. She felt absolutely safe. “It was mostly uneventful,” she said thoughtfully. “I bought groceries,” she went on to say. Celes wasn't the absolute best cook but she tried. She also went for easy to make things, like mac and cheese and fixings for sandwiches. She wasn't going to attempt anything fancy or overly difficult. “Sounds like an exciting day.” And part of him was being sincere, while the other part of him was obviously joking. “When was the last time you had such a simple day?” Because honestly, he wasn’t sure he could remember the last time he’d had one that easy himself prior to now. Maybe before he’d become an adventurer? That seemed likely… But how long had that been too? Years now. Literally. In fact, if Locke bothered to think about it too much he’d quickly come to realize the last time he’d had a day as calm as their recent ones had been? Well, it was well over a decade ago for himself. Though, the bigger question here, and likely a possible problem coming up before too long if he wasn’t careful, was the fact that he wasn’t used to days like these, and while they were a novelty now? Locke had no doubts that it would soon wear off and he’d be longing for adventure and treasure hunting once more. For now? He could convince himself that this new world was adventure enough but… That was going to wear off too… For now? He was here. Celes was here, and they were snuggled up in bed. This would tide him over for some time to come. Celes smirked at that, “Yeah… it was very exciting buying all the groceries.” Most of her life had been filled with some sort of tasks, some sort of commotion or adventure. This change of pace was very new to her. She could think of the time when things were forced to slow down when she had been given the task of saving Cid’s life and succeeded. Then there was that time she betrayed to empire and got herself locked away. Overall, there had been short instances in which she could sit and think. They never lasted very long. “It’s been a while,” she said thoughtfully. And naturally, when Celes took a break to breathe she started to think about her past misdeeds. However, in this moment those thoughts didn’t resurface. It was probably because she was snuggled up with Locke and not left entirely alone with her own thoughts. Instead, she had a mixture of thoughts: Of the store she had gone to and how very different it was from home, whatever the hell mac and cheese was, how nice it was to be there with Locke even if none of their other friends were there, how warm Locke felt, how nice he smelled. She closed her eyes, barely registering that her fingers had begun to gently trace along his chest. It was the most natural thing in the world to just lay there, to smile more when she smiled, to listen and not try to fill up the space between them with inane nonsense. It wasn’t that he didn’t want to talk, talking felt natural it was easy for a treasure hunter like him, but laying like this, right here? Right now? This felt natural too. “Hey, anything’s exciting when you’re involved.” It was another half joke. It felt both natural and odd all at once as Locke had never been much of one to take anything in half measures for most of his life. In fact, while the words were cheesy as hell, Locke couldn’t imagine anything being too unbearable as long as Celes was along with him. “Anything I should know going on in that head of yours?” Once again, the question remained sincere as he continued to softly smile. At the feeling of fingers grazing across his skin, it was taken as an invitation for his fingers to lightly caress where hands had casually laid against the woman’s skin as he held her. It was well known by now that when left to her own devices Celes’ mind went many unpleasant places and if there was any of that going on, hopefully she’d tell him so that he could help. Celes hadn’t felt this calm and relaxed in a long time. In fact, she couldn’t remember ever feeling this comfortable. Her entire life had been about war and fighting and conquering things. It wasn’t until she befriended the Returners that life slowed down a little and became about saving the world. There were a lot of bad things Celes had done, but the good things outweighed the bad by degrees. It was a matter of Celes seeing it that way. Celes smiled when he said that, “I can say the same for you.” Celes may never understand why he cared about her. There were so many other women in the world more deserving than Celes. However, she had come to accept that he had chosen her and when Locke had his mind set on something it wasn’t easy changing it. Her cheeks flushed a little as she realized what her fingers had been doing. “You smell nice. And you’re really warm,” she said quietly. That was the extent of it. She hadn’t really had much else going on in her head at that exact moment, as all other thoughts had drifted away. “Of course you can! What sort of adventurer would I be if you couldn’t? A terrible one, that’s what.” Because if an adventure wasn’t exciting? You clearly weren’t doing adventuring right at all, and you needed to have your adventuring card taken away. There had to be a board to revoke those things, right? Or at least put a smear on your record, and what adventurer would tolerate their reputation being besmirched? However, what Celes came back with in response to his question? Well, that totally hadn’t been expected at all. It was far from unwelcome but as Locke had been thinking about the woman in his arm’s mental and emotional state’s he hadn’t really stopped to consider… “Proof the shower and blankets work.” There was soft kidding quality to his voice as the smile remained. Though another thought lingered. “I miss everyone, but it’s kind of nice to be able to lay down like this and not have to worry about anyone else running in.” Really, no one liked being fully clothed all the time, and it was hard not to be with literal kids running around Setzer’s airship. Though no comment would be made about the movement, or lack thereof, of Celes fingers or the coloration of her face. Instead, he’d simply press a kiss to her cheek instead. Celes chuckled at his declaration. It was true, what sort of adventurer would he be if he didn't make life interesting? He was far better at it than Celes was, after all. She could count on him to keep things exciting when they needed some adventure in their lives. And Celes would always be there to watch his back should he ever get into a rough situation. She'd knock out anyone attempting to do him harm, even if she didn't want to fight anymore. That was pretty much the extent of her two cents. Celes laughed, “Yes, it does. I would have had to send you off to shower if you'd smelled bad,” she teased. She smiled contentedly at that thought. “Yeah… it's strange not having the others around to barge in at any moment. We've got real locks on the doors now,” she said with amusement. She still missed the others, but Locke made up for that by simply being there. She smiled at that simple kiss to her cheek. For so long she had wanted a normal, drama free, no-amount-of-fighting life in which she could just focus on one thing: Locke. For the first time in her life she finally had that chance. Celes was smiling, and right now that was one of the most important things in Locke’s world. Realistically, it was one of the most important things in any world he found himself in. The woman in his arms had endured enough pain and misfortune for a dozen lifetimes at least, and as far as he was concerned he’d do everything he could to assure that not a moment more of sorrow befell her. “I would send me off to shower if I smelled bad too, so it’s a good thing we agree on that. No one needs me smelling like BO and adventure grime.” There was a widening of his own smile as Locke poked fun at himself. “Yeah.” It echoed her prior statement in complete agreement with it. It was odd not to be around the group, or at least someone else. It was pretty hard to adventure with just two people, even two people as strong as they were. “It’s amazing what having your own place can do with getting locks on the doors, huh?” It was another simple joke without anything other than amusement and joy in it. There was a moment taken where he wouldn’t take, he’d simply bask in the simplicity of the moment, but a thought would creep in eventually. “See, isn’t my bed more comfortable with you in it?” Protecting Locke was Celes’ number one priority. She wanted him safe and healthy and happy. As long as he was those things she was happy. His happiness was far more important to her than her own. She would do anything to keep him safe. She would follow him anywhere he planned to adventure, with the intent of making sure he came out unscathed. Her personal demons were her own to worry over, even if Locke did insist on trying to keep her from thinking about them. Celes laughed for several seconds over his statement. “There's something endearing about your adventurer smell, but I do appreciate your bathing yourself,” she teased. Celes thought about how their friends would have walked in without so much as knocking. Thank goodness there were locks. Thank goodness they weren't surrounded by their friends who didn't have a sense of personal boundaries like Celes did. “When you live in a strange town, I think locks are probably a good thing.” She adjusted enough look at him and narrowed her eyes a little at him, “Just don't go picking my locks.” It was meant as a joke, because obviously he was the one person she wouldn't mind barging into her home. Her cheeks flushed again, “Yes, it's very nice.” “Glad it’s not too repulsive. I hate to think you were running around pinching your nose behind my back all the time.” The smile had turned into a legitimately playful grin at this point. The image in her own head was too good to not be amused by. “Locks are good, I’d know. Expert on them.” The double play on his name was easy, and the amused look remained while they continued the gentle sort of banter. “But what if I have a surprise for you that I’m really excited about and can’t wait for you to have?” He was teasing, clearly. He’d basically always respected her need and desire for personal space unless it was clearly going to do her harm in some way, shape or form…. Though the idea of setting up a huge surprise of gifts all laid out nicely for her for Celes to come home to actually sounded like a really awesome surprise for her too. Maybe he’d have to figure out a way to work around that later. However, the coloration of her cheeks changing would be noticed and Locke couldn’t help the curious look that crept up as he attempted to school away his concern. “You okay?” “I mean, occasionally you get that very man-like smell and it's a little hard to get passed. But it's bearable most of the time,” she teased. She paused before adding, “Although I have considered wearing a gas mask.” She gently bit her lip, trying not to laugh. Which didn't work because she laughed at the idea of walking around with a gas mask anytime they went somewhere together. “Locks are your specialty,” she agreed. She considered his question very seriously, “As long as I'm not walking around my apartment naked, sure. I don't mind your surprises.” It was an innocent statement. She didn't even consider that he might immediately have an image of her walking around in the nude. “Yes,” she said quietly. “It's just… you know, I've never been in someone else's bed.” “Downfall of being a man I guess, but hey, check out my abs? Consolation prize?” He was mostly joking still of course at his own expense. Thankfully, Locke had pretty good self-esteem regarding some parts of himself and his life, this being one of them. “If I ever get gas mask worthy, you better let me know. No one deserves that.” The grin at her complimenting him couldn’t be helped. “What good adventurer lets a little lock stop them.” Another play against his own name, but well, that was just how the life of a treasure hunter went. The thought of Celes naked? Well…. Locke would be a bold faced liar if he tried to say he’d never thought of that before, and the entire notion seemed to trip him up for a moment. Honestly, he’d love to see her naked. She was a beautiful woman, who took a lot of pride in maintaining herself well, and… She’d probably have scars and other things she felt were issues with her body and he’d… He’d still find her beautiful. Annnnnnnnnnnnddddddddddd….. He was totally distracted. “Well, I thought maybe it’d be nice to try?” There was a slight shyness to the words and a soft smile was offered to her. Celes couldn't help the grin that appeared. “Yes, I had noticed those. They're very nice,” she said, a little flustered and embarrassed at admitting that. Truths were coming out today, apparently. Such embarrassing and personal truths. She laughed again, “If you ever become worthy of a gas mask, I'll personally buy you soap.” She even pinched his cheek affectionately. She smiled fondly at his lock jokes. “A bad one,” she said matter-of-factly. Celes didn't put a lot of stock in physical beauty. She did take a lot of pride in keeping herself fit, keeping herself in shape for any battles that might arise. That was far more important to her than looking appealing. She did have various scars from battles and her time locked away. They were battle wounds she didn't think much of now, but each had a story that she wasn't particularly fond of. If she had any idea the thoughts she had just put into his head she would have been mortified. Her statement had been entirely innocent. She hadn't meant to make him think of her naked. “It's nice,” she agreed. “We should do this more often.” And that kissing thing. “Had to hook you somehow.” The grin remained along with the obvious joke about his physical appearance. “Deal.” Locke offered up a hand in order to shake with Celes on it. If he was that bad it seemed only fair she take any means deemed necessary to fix the problem, right? Though the next sentence she’d utter he’d offer a soft, encouraging smile. “We can do this any time you want.” Arms wrapped around her tightly again as he settled in. “Whatever you’re comfortable with is what we’ll do.” “Oh yes, I'm solely in this for your sexy abs,” she teased. “Just so you're completely aware.” Celes chuckled and shook his hand firmly. “Deal.” Even if it was a joke, she would still tell him if he got too ripe. And she would absolutely buy him some towels and soap. Maybe even some deodorant and cologne. The thought was quite amusing. “That sounds nice,” she replied with a gentle smile. “I think I'd be comfortable with just about anything with you,” she said quietly. She breathed in his scent, letting out a little sigh. A sigh that sounded a lot more pleasurable in nature than she had intended. “I knew it. Glad we have an understanding that you want me for my body.” It was an easy joke to continue along with, and one that was relatively noncommittal as the train of conversation required little to no thought at all on his behalf. At her agreement with his thoughts on the matter about this being nice he couldn’t help but allow his smile to widen a little bit. “What do you want to do?” Though that….. noise caused him to swallow hard. While he hadn’t thought about much else other than what he’d invited her over for now his thoughts were… Starting to wander. Maybe if she….Fingers shifted, allowing hands to leisurely stroke over where they had rested before. Celes chuckled at that. “I mean, I thought that was fairly obvious. But it's good to have the air cleared. I was a little worried you might think I'm only with you for your intelligence and wit.” Celes could joke around in the right situation. This was definitely one of them. She could lie there with him for hours. If it weren't for work she would, too. Celes swallowed, too, but her action was more out of embarrassment for letting that noise come out. “I….” she hesitated because now there an elephant in the room and she suddenly felt on display. “What do you want to do?” she countered, attempting to ignore that rather animalistic sound she had just made. “Got the message loud and clear.” Locke jokingly confirmed, noting the passive compliments she’d thrown in for good measure. This was undoubtedly something they’d missed out on in all their adventures this time to be alone with each other, to just relax, and casually talk. Letting the conversation go where ever it decided to go, and just… Enjoying each others company with no other threats, concerns or worries in the world. Maybe, just maybe, this brief glimpse was showing the treasure hunter what people really saw in settling down with someone else for the rest of their lives. There was a soft, gentle smile offered back to Celes at the question posed to him regarding what he wanted to do. “That’s….Hrmm.” A moment was taken to mull over what he wanted, and how best to express that. “I want to do whatever you’re in the mood for, Celes.” All he’d thought about was cuddling, but… If she wanted to do something else, why would he object? This was absolutely something Celes had missed out on for most of her life. She had so few people she trusted completely. She never fully trusted anyone in the empire. She never divulged personal information to them. Not that she had had much at the time. Offering personal information to others wasn't something Celes was known for and she preferred it that way. Locke, on the other hand… she would share anything with him. She took a deep breath and considered his answer. It didn't help in deciding what to say or do. They were just batting the same question back and forth. One of them had to give in eventually. So… she'd be that person. She set herself up to look at him before she leaned over and pressed her lips to his. It was easy to read what she wanted and Locke was happy to oblige. He’d met her halfway on the kiss, as his arms would tighten around her body, pulling Celes closer so that he’d be able to smoothly caress over her back in one long stroke down, and then back up with his hand. While he’d honestly wanted to kiss her again, he’d been hesitant. She’d responded well before, but it didn’t mean she would against without the same stressors in place. Now she was acting on this, and was the one starting. Maybe that meant she…. Wanted more….? There would be a hesitation as the kiss was slowly broken from and Locke would shift beginning to slowly trail kisses along her jaw back to the junction where it met her ear. “Tell me if you want me to stop.” Was whispered in Celes ear before teeth would be used to lightly nip at her earlobe. “Or if you want something else.” Celes couldn't believe they hadn't kissed again since being let out of quarantine. She certainly had wanted to. Maybe the timing had just been off afterwards. Maybe they had just been shy about continuing that part of their relationship. Either way, she couldn't helping thinking they should have been doing this much sooner. That tickled. She chuckled against his touch, unable to keep it from tickling, but not really wanting it to stop. Celes, having never been in this sort of situation, did feel quite shy about proceeding. She didn't really know what to do with her hands. Was she supposed to just sit there, was she supposed to… touch... areas? She didn't really know. What she did know was that as much as this tickled it felt just as amazing. After a moment, she broke that and decided to make her own move. She kissed him again before moving along to his neck, giving it a gentle bite, her hands running through his hair. She paused to look at him then, “Do you…” okay, so the question was incredibly embarrassing now that she was very aware of what she was asking, “want to… you know…?” There was a soft, pleased grunt released at the feel of her teeth against his neck. It hadn’t entirely been expected, especially with how hesitant she had seemed about all of this, but it was completely welcome. He’d continue to administer gentle affections, following her lead until she moved to catch his eyes. Locke couldn’t help the smile that emerged. “I’d be lying to say I haven’t thought of you that way.” His hand shifted, casually caressing in a non-provocative manner. “You’re a gorgeous woman, and you already know how I feel about you.” The smile remained soft, and his voice mained a gentle, warm tone. “But I think jumping from kissing to sex is pretty big, and unless you’re ready for that, I’m happy to take things in steps.” So Celes couldn't help feeling a little relieved at hearing him say that. She still felt embarrassed about this, but she couldn't deny she wanted it. She wanted to make him happy. She wanted to be with Locke. She seemed to be thinking, considering his words before answering. “I want to. Maybe it's too soon, but I…” she sighed and rested her forehead against his, “I feel like it's long overdue. But if you'd rather we take things slowly I can.” As much as he wanted to make sure she was comfortable, she wanted to reciprocate that sentiment. The soft, warm smile remained the entire time she responded to his thoughts and statements. It wasn’t hard to listen to her. Sure, he… Might start having some problems soon if his brain kept revolving around sex with a hot woman in his bed for too long, but it was something that could be handled if absolutely needed. Locke might need to excuse himself to the bathroom for a little bit, but… Well, they’d cross that bridge when or if they got to it. “We can try tonight, and if at any point you get uncomfortable, we can stop. Does that work?” His hand continued to stroke along her back soothingly. “I didn’t invite you over for sex.” A beat. “I just want to make sure you know that, but I….” He couldn’t help the mildly uncomfortable smile that rose. “Like I said, I’d be lying to say I haven’t thought about having sex with you.” Okay, yup, this was getting awkward. Poor Celes wasn't entirely aware of male issues, simply because she had never been in a situation this intimate. Had she known she would have either made the decision right then, or she would have stopped talking about it for his sake. Celes nodded, “We can do that,” she agreed. She wondered if sex was often planned out. Likely not, considering he had basically just admitted to wanting to if she wanted to. As much of a badass fighter as she was, Celes was pretty clueless in this topic. She grinned, “I know you didn't.” She searched his face, considering something as his words sunk in. It was something she had wanted to say for a long time, but even though she still felt he deserved so much more, she needed to say it. “Locke, I love you. I have for a long time. I'm sorry I haven't said it before,” her voice low, almost apologetic. It was good that she’d realized that his intention hadn’t been for sex, or to pressure her into anything along the way. Locke had always done his best to make sure that Celes’ comfort level was attended to, that she knew that he viewed her as important more than anything she could theoretically give him. There was a lot of issues and mistreatment she’d dealt with in her life, and he didn’t want to be one of the people to add to the long list of abuses she’d incurred. Yet the whole train of thought, the whole idea that they were going to try to have sex that evening, and share a new level of intimacy they’d never attempted before was shattered by the next words Celes said. They were…. Shocking. In the best way possible and almost felt completely from left field even if Locke had some notion of them being true long before now. “I love you too, Celes.” Opening up to others used to be viewed as a vulnerability. Celes used to keep her fears, her wants and desires, her likes and dislikes, her worries all to herself. This was because she couldn't trust others not to use them against her. There was a certain level of trust that had to be reached before Celes shared any of them. There was a time when she couldn't trust anyone, least of all her ex-fellow soldiers. She had experienced so much pain and suffering, both personally and having witnessed it, in her short life. Moreso than most people, and she didn't want to share it with anyone out of fear that they would try to ‘fix’ her. Only Celes could fix Celes. However, between Locke and their friends she had done an exceptional amount of healing over the years. She still had some self-loathing, but she could get passed that eventually. It wasn't something Celes said lightly. She didn't go around saying that to anyone else. In fact, she wasn't sure she had ever said it to another person besides Locke. Maybe she had said it to Cid when she was a child, but so much of her childhood was shadowed in darkness that she wasn't entirely sure. It was important that he knew, because he deserved to be loved… even by Celes. And for some reason, he loved her too. She offered a gentle smile at his confession. Those were the sweetest words her ears had ever heard. That Locke loved her was her greatest triumph. She kissed him again then, once again relishing in the moment. A hand would stroke over Celes back easily, and Locke would lean forward pressing in for another kiss as fingers moved starting to slide under her shirt. They’d need to get her undressed, but it would be easy to take their time there, make a game out of it. It would make sense to take this nice and slow. Locke would have to focus, and do his best to make sure nothing went awry. “We’ll have to get you out of these clothes.” Was murmured against her lips as hands shifted, sliding Celes’ shirt up so that it could be slid over her head with ease. If allowed, he’d casually toss it off the side of the bed. That probably wasn’t really her style, but… They could give it a try for tonight and work out the other details later. Celes shifted a little at his touch, making it a little easier for him to slide her shirt up and over her head. She grinned against his lips. She didn't protest or try to fight it. She had already made her decision. She was giving everything of herself to Locke. She didn't mind if her shirt was tossed to the side. They could clean up later. She adjusted so that she was straddling him. Her hands were placed on either side of his face as she kissed him again. Nothing about any of this felt awkward or unnatural. She just kept thinking about how they were only now getting so intimate. She could kick herself for waiting so long. Honestly, Locke hadn’t expected Celes to take on the lead in much of any of this. Not that the woman now atop him was a dead fish in any aspect of their respective lives but… Whereas she seemed so shy and reserved in this Locke had just sort of assumed he’d have to be the one to take the lead here. It wasn’t unwelcome in the very least, but he’d have to be even more careful about pacing himself if she was going to be as active as it appeared. His hands would fall to her hips, ensuring she’d remain steady as she leaned down and kissed him. Gods she was so hot. He was so lucky to be here, with her, doing this, now. Not that he wasn’t at other times and in other places, but… A low moan was offered into the kiss as hands stroked up carefully over her sides. Celes still felt incredibly timid about this. She was no pushover and she could hold her own in any fight. She could take charge when need be. But this was entirely new and although she felt nervous about this whole process she didn't think being shy about it was going to help her. She needed to be forward Celes right now. So far all she had lost was her shirt. There was still the matter of her pants and her underclothes. They would worry about that when they got there. She didn't want to be too eager about this. She wanted to take it slow. She didn't want to rush. She had felt his hands before, but she hadn't felt them in places that were so exposed now. Whatever scars she had were mostly visible now, but Celes didn't seem to be bothered by them. They were a part of her. There was only one not seen, one of her left leg.
