Charlie understood that the time in Quarantine was difficult to bare but he was grateful for it on occassion. It gave him time to get over any shock or emotion he had by an arrival. Or at least a better control of his emotions. After Tonks' disapperance, he had spiraled, and drink had been his regular. It was still too heavily incoorporated into his day to day at present but he'd been doing better. With her rearrival, all he could think of was how long was it going to be until she was gone again?
He hated that.
Thankfully, a night with his head pressed against Emmeline's welcome shoulder had calmed him down. Another night of research on his and Bill and Rocket's joint venture had distracted him. But now Tonks was being released and he was outside the door, with hands thrust into his cargo pants. He had just enough time to pull them out so he could catch Tonks in his arms, though he nearly stumbled from her weight being thrown against him. Arms circled around her and he held on for longer than normal, but when he pulled away, he had a very practiced smile. "Mhm, sure you are," he teased.
