The downside of watching HGTV is that you suddenly feel like you can take on a project despite having zero experience. Also, what is it with these shows and shiplap and everything being perfectly clean? I get that it's a show and you know presentation counts, but at least make it seem like an actual family could live there.

Then again, I might not actually have good taste. My room was very pink and light purple back home.

I can't watch those shows. Last time I watched something like that, I went and redecorated my whole flat.

Shiplap is so overrated though.

Yeah, she's okay with time travelers. She's a Doctor and yeah, the place is really nice. Honestly we don't know each other all that well. She posted on the network that she had a spare bedroom, and both of us haven't really been keen on living alone.

I love those bloody shows though. Especially when you get to make fun of them for being super picky about the stupidest things. Or those house shows when they pick the one that has NONE of the things they wanted.

WHOVERSE:

That's great! That it's nice, and that neither of you wanted to live alone and found one another. That's always a bonus.

Is this a situation where you'd like to get to know her? Or just stick it out as flatmates?

Me too. We are in Texas, I bet we can make the drive to Waco. Yes! The ones who are so stubborn and they won't bend on anything. Or the renovation shows where they keep changing their minds and wanting to add something, then get irritated when it costs money.

Well I mean I'm sure we'll probably become friends. Seems like we get along so far, figured making a new friend would be inevitable. Unless one of us turns out to be one of those creepy roommates that try to take over the other person's life, but I don't see that happening.
