I'd like to keep the three of you on standby in case we need extra help at EPS. I do not think that Erik's departure is going to impact Rogue's work too much, but with the baby and the familiar tendency of all of ours to run ourselves ragged while avoiding our problems, I'd just like to have backups ready to jump in. If you all would be willing to cover classes if the need comes up through the first half of the year and mentor new teachers when asked, I'd appreciate it.

Logan - I know you're busy with your own programs, so I'll keep you as a last resort, if that's alright?

Kitty - I am going to chalk up that little outburst you had with the other Rogue to a temporary lapse of judgement and hope that you will not take students to task for speaking ill of you in the future. Am I correct?

And you don't get to undermine me in front of the staff or students when school starts. You can keep your unpleasantness up among family, but I'm not going to tolerate it with employees. If you think I'm up to trouble, you go through the proper channels and talk to Scott and Rogue. You don't make cute little quips about how evil I am or about sentinels when we're working. Understand?

Maybe once upon a time, we could have buried the hatchet. I thought maybe we had when I got fused to that bullet.

I know what grief makes people do, and I am sorry for it. But it's what you do with that grief that informs the kind of person you are. You chose to mess with your own team's heads and created the same monster machines that were killing us to go after another group of minorities. I don't know if I can get over that.

But I can be civil in the workplace.
